Front end shimmy

I have a problem with my 78 k-30 front end. Every time I hit a ripple or dip in the road my front end shimmy's or vibrates. I found that my steering stabilizer was infact shot. I have replaced it with a new one and it seems like it got a bit better, but now at different road conditions it still does the same thing but not as violent. Any input?? I have replaced the steering box and a worn pitman arm also.
Thanks Truk59 in Ct.

It is a problem that has never been solved with Dana 60 front axles. Some people replace the springs and add thicker washers (king pin springs, not leaf springs). You can go to www.coloradok5.com and go to their forums and search for "death wobble", it may help you as there are many knowledgable people over there on this topic; I don't know much about the Dana 60's having never owned or worked on one.
