Sweet! Keep it and finish her.

I finally finished painting the truck. I managed to get one of the bed runners on, and the chrome trim above the doors. Tonight I put the grille, bumper, hl bezels, and chrome hood deflector back on. The other bed runner too.

I pulled a late one last night, but at least I got it done.

I wished I was able to say I worked on a 73-87, but I didn't. I worked on my Jeep TJ this vacation. Wednesday after discovering the hub was stripped out I had to drill the lugs off, Thurday I got the frontend put back together and went a bought a new radiator. This one had a leak starting ( 132K miles) Sunday I replaced it.

Got in somewhat of a race with a WRX from a 35 roll. He got into it before I did, but only got a 1/2 car on me. Pulled over and talked a bit. He said it runs about 14.2's. 1st time I've had the truck out, or even started it, in about 5 weeks.

Cleaned the truck up inside and out Saturday evening. It rained on the way to work this morning...

Went to a swap meet yesterday, and did not find anything I need. I saw my father-in-law there, and told him I saw someone walking around with the steering wheel I want. He said "you don't need a steering wheel." I think that means he bought me one for Christmas.

I got the SBC in my Dad's '37 Chevy running again last night. He was in poor health for quite a while, and it really went downhill fast before he died. Hopefully I can get it inspected soon, and start driving it.

did the family thing all day Thursday, 75+ people.
got up Friday, stripped the 4.56s out of my C&C 14FF, and loaded it into the back of my truck by myself. did the family thing again, with the other side of the family, for birthday parties (5 of us all within a week, so we did one party)
Saturday got up, went to Ill to pick up some Dana 60 hubs, then delivered the 14FF, and went and picked up a set of driveshafts.
i spent Sunday putting brake lines on my K20, as soon as i would replace the bad one, another would blow. getting ready to head out right now to bleed the brakes. hopefully no more blown lines, cuz if they blow, i'm gonna cry.

I made out fairly well. I got my 400 completely torn down to a bare block (with a few minor mishaps, see Engine forum). I also went to pick up my new th350 and hydro clutch parts from 1faastc10. It may sound like one small step for most, but it was one giant leap for me.
