Well while lifting my new project truck this weekend I found that both saddle tanks had rusted through under the straps.

I won't cry too much as otherwise this truck is SUPER solid and clean.
As the RV style filler doors were so ugly I had planned on removing all 3 tanks and doing the blazer tank mod anyway this just accelerates my plans.

If anyone has a junk fleetside bed that is good in the vicinity of the dealer installed RV filler doors i'd appreciate a chunk of your bed to use as a filler !
I need it for both sides.

Got pics of the areas you are talking about? I have a bed that i might be cutting up.

and look at the first picture on the top left you'll see the ugly aluminum rectangle on the side of the bed towards the front (few feet from the cab)

Or I can try to doctor a picture tonight family permitting and put up a link directly to it.

I can get you both sides of what you need for 40. Ill cut it big so you have plenty to work with. JT
