Gmc parts truck and 350 engine

The gmc does not run--- It turned over after sitting in yard for over a year-- the rotor in the distr. does not turn when the engine turns over.

The motor came out of my dad's 1969 chevy ran fine-- had about 85K did not have enough power for a mid life crisis. Does run -- but is sold as is
