Progress shots. *56k warning*
Sittin Pretty with the front down another 1 or 1 1/2 inches or so. Not gonna be able to notch the rear today, but I am gonna flip it and only do a 1" shackle. Ill just be careful so I dont bottom out too much.
Its got a really good sport truck rake to it right now.

yeah, it sits pretty good for the front being where it is. But when I return my spindles Im prolly ordering some 3" springs in place of em. So the rear has to go down.

The front has 2.5" spindles and I cut a coil out. Soooo, im not sure what kinda springs were in there. They MIGHT have been stock, who knows. I started putting on my WC spindles last night and got one on, remeasured, and it was like 1/4" higher, I took a look and placed the spindles side by side and it turns out I already had lowering spindles on there. Prolly really old Belltech ones that werent marked. So im returning the spindles and getting some 2" or 3" springs. Im just finishing up the flip right now. Unless I can preform a miracle, I dont think the notch will be done today.
Its gonna be tight in the back for a while. Looks like only 2" of clearance. More reason to get that notch in and springs on! Its quite a gratifying experience ripping the entire suspension apart. God ive never been so dirty in my life. More pics coming soon! Gonna be riding cali crawl sytle for a bit

Holy $hit! Im MAD cali crawl. Im thinking I have like 4" in the front if im lucky, now 7 or 8" in the rear. Gotta get that notch in asap, I have like 1.5" of clearance. Bottoms out on everything. So, spindles are going back and 3" springs are going up front. 5-8 here I come.
I get pics of the cali crawl tommorow in the light after I get all the grease off the truck.

I have the light duty leaf pack, and a shackle, it sat ON the frame, so Im halfway done with the notch and it, like you said, doesnt move more than 2". Im tucking a TON of tire. Its gotta be atleast 7" drop back there. I dunno if the leaves are drop leaves or what, but its low. Its a WC flip kit too, but its only rated to 5 inches. Time to go throw some more sparks and get this bugger finished up.

Yeah, im tucking like 3 or so inches of tire. Almost to the rim, I mean its LOWW. I made a dumb mistake though when putting on the passenger side notch. Cut the brake line. Would a temp fix by taking some rubber line and using it where It got cut be such a bad idea?

You'd hate to lose your truck (or hurt yourself or someone else) to something so minor.

Yeah, I was just taking a look at it since Im finally finishing my notch. I ran out of steam last night since I worked on the beast for like 12 hours. Can I just run down to the parts store and buy some line and a line bender and run some more? Never replaced it before but I cant imagine its too hard. Run the new line and bleed it, right?
Anyhow. I think my rear bumper is like 8 or so inches off the ground. Its AWESOME.

Wow. that is LOW! I have light duty leafs on mine with one leaf removed, a flip kit & rear shackles & it sits maybe 2 1/2" over the frame with the box off. Im betting that you have drop leaf springs on yours too...corn
