1971 SWB Factory 402 Pickup for Sale or Trade
I am looking to sell my 1971 Chevy SWB pickup. Better yet, I would prefer to trade for a 69-82 2wd Blazer (need more room for the family)and cash. My truck is a factory 402, turbo 400, 12 bolt posi, p/s, p/b, factory tach. It does not have factory air, but it does have cold underdash air. The truck has a flush mount fiberglass bedcover and new 18" wheels and tires. The truck is extra solid, straight, and slick in black paint. I drove it on the Power Tour with absolutely no problems. I am asking $15,000, but I am open to
reasonable offers. I have pictures I can email to anyone interested. The truck is 60 miles north of Dallas, TX (903) 868-1328 |

I'll move this over to the parts board where it will get better exposure to potential buyers.
Kindest regards, Kevin

The bedcover is from Checker Products, and it is really nice. I'm not sure how to attach a link, but here is their website. Mine is the Checkmate FX http://www.checkerpro.com/hardcovers.html

The cover seals nicely, but I do still get a little water in the bed through
the stake pocket holes because they are not covered. As long as things are up off the floor, they stay dry. It really is a nice cover. Reasonable price too. |

I'm kinda surprises by the lack of response on this truck.
Is it the price or the timing? |

Nice Truck!
Nice truck and priced right! Wish I had that kind of money coz it is exactly what I want and is in my backyard. You should have no problem selling it.

Nice truck! The only thing keeping me off it is MONEY!
Selling anything is like courting a girl...timing is everything! I have been giving away parts at ridiculuous prices simply because I have to move them, if I could wait know I would get more...but this time of year is tough on anything except for the independently wealthy> Good luck, and if you can hold out I know you will get your price!

Thanks LOLIFE99 for the offer, but I'm looking for something with more room...
Maybe a GM musclecar or a blazer. I do appreciate your interest though. 71PICKEMUP |

Could you e-mail a photo of the options list to me? How flexible are you on the price (I would be interested around $12k).
