fit?

Ok heres my problem. I bought a clip off a 83 burb to fit on my 82 truck. I swaped the clips out today and noticed that towards the bottom of the fenders there a good size gap between the fenders and the doors. Will this not fit of am i missing something? The top lines up real nice with proper spacing but for some reason theres a gap towards the bottom.

Thanks
Jason

You might have to many shims in the rad. support cushions That will hold the bottom of the fender out. All trucks 81-87 and blazers and burbs from 81-91 front are the same except different grills.
