Turn signal switch non/tilt

Are these hard to put in or should you hire someone for this job? I know you remove the steering wheel and the switch ,but what about the long wire how do you get that back down in the column?

The turn signal switches are not too difficult to change. The service manual has some pretty good instructions in it and if you like, PM a fax number to me and I will fax them to you.

The wires are a not that hard to feed through with the wire cover and connector removed.
