If I am correct, the choke is on the carb. So the intake manifold would not have anything to do with it, just the carb. It's either electric or the "old school" wire pull choke.

It uses one like this that has a rod going to the carb...

It's actually called a "Divorced Choke" because the unit is not a part of the carburetor, per se.
