a/c question
In the past I have seen many a street rods with a tube type a/c mounted in the pass window. (I suppose they didn't want to install an aftermarket system.)My question is do they work? Where can I find one? I am moving to FL real soon and don't have time or money to go with a vintage air system. I figure this should work great for me b/c I am driving alone the whole way. Does anyone know anything about these?

Those are old time air conditioners. It is really an evaporative cooler (swamp cooler) for a car. Cold water goes in it and then the air runs through it while driving and is cooled by the water. The cooled air is then redirected into your vehicle. It might be hard to find one. I am not sure if anybody makes them anymore.

I know they are made new agin but I don't know by who. Around here they are mostly on lowridder cars so you might chek out one of the lowered mags on the news stand. Joker69
