bleeder screw question
Changed my front brake hose no sweat, bleed them out no sweat, all was good.
I replaced the bleeder screws on both sides. Took it out stops on a dime no problem there. But I noticed the bleeder screws weeping around the threads some dryed it off test drive a gain same. Pulled the screws to compare the are almost the same but not exactly the ends of the new ones are pointy the ones in the truck are more flat and blunt put the old ones back in and it apears to be ok so far? Any thoughts.

I think that there not sealing it properly you might want to try and find new ones like your older ones if you plan to change them.

Ya I dont think I will change them now but down the road. I think he may have used another year caliper or something. I noticed now it does not leak under hard braking but over night it weeps a very small amount around the screw not even enuf to run down the caliper will this stop after a few days? I think it may just be fluid in the screw working up with the hot and cold change of driving and sitting.

When the truck is parked not runing the lines are not under much pressure are they?
