Newbie just saying Hi!
Hey, I have posted in the parts section but figured I would introduce myself here. I just recently bought a 72 Chevy SWB truck and plan on doing alot of work to it before this spring. I live in Nicholasville, ky. This is the first truck I have ever owned (Camaro Guy) but have always wanted one. I friend of mine saw it in a field and told me about it. I paid all of $100 for it and took it home and started it. It currently has a 267 smog motor in it with 350 trans and 4.11 gears. I will probably be putting an LT1/4L60 in it but will see after doing some research. I just finished helping my buddy put an LT1 in his 89 truck and it runs great. Sure I'll be bugging the hell out of all of you shortly.

thanks for warm welcome. I dont have any pics yet but will be taking some "before" pictures before I dig in. I have checked the FAQ section. Just finished reading the Blazer Fuel Tank conversion. I have been a member of camaroz28.com and a few other camaro sites. The SEARCH button can definately be your best friend.

Thanks again guys(and gals). I have spent several hours reading up on old threads and cant wait to get started on the truck. I fixed my location because god knows I will need lots "o" parts so if your near Ky and have anything short of a complete body lying around give me a shout. Thanks...........jt
