Window channel felt replacement?
When replacing the felt channel that goes across the top of the door and down the side, do you have to remove the window or can it be done without doing this?. Also what about the division bar felt?. Does the wing have to come out to replace that one?. Thanks

I've had my originals in and out a few times by just pulling it out on the top section and sliding it down the track with the windows in place. I can't say if new ones would cooperate though.

You would definitely have to pull out the cozy wing to replace that one. And it is not a fun job being that the felt/rubber is held on by rivets. Pulling the window out was actually the easy part...........

Pull the window, it'll make things much easier, and short in the long run

Thanks for the replys guys. I was hoping I could just work it in by rolling the window up and down a little at a time.

If you are not replacing the vent window rubber you can do it with the window in. It took a little wiggling but that's how I did mine.

I've replaced mine twice without removing the window , once when I first got the truck and after I had it painted.
Just take it slow if there is any excess cut it at the bottom inside the door panel .
