68 c20 bolt pattern

This is my first post as I recently bought a bone original 68 GMC c20, 307, 4spd. Pop had a 72 when I was a kid and I've loved the body style ever since.

It has the original 17.5 rims with bias ply diggers. Is the 8 lug bolt pattern the same 67-87 or even later? I want to put a set of 16" steelies on it for now.

Also, Can a 3/4 ton be lowered and how much? Not lookin to put it in the weeds.

This site is great, packed with info.

Bill

Yes, it's the same 8 lug as the later trucks. A set of 16 inch wheels should be easy to find.

Early Classic makes lowering stuff for your truck too. There's one member who has a killer lowered 3/4 ton.
