52 1/2 ton
I have a 1952 Chevy 1/2 ton for sale. I "think" it has a 235 in it, converted to 4spd and 12v. Drivable condition but far from a show truck. I know it has a small rusted spot on the passenger side cab corner but have not looked it over yet. Glass looked good. I have some not so good pics I could email and if someone is really interested I could get more. Plan to fire it up and drive it around tomorrow so will know more then. It is located in east central OK, 50 miles south of Ft Smith, AR. Asking $1500. If anyone near Springfield, MO was interested I would trade for a Grizzley 514 bandsaw.
BTW, clear title and current tag.

I am interested in it. Could you send me some pics? I am near Dallas/Ft. worth so the drive up wouldn't be to bad. Is this a 2 wheel 1/2ton or is your signature an indication that it is somehow a 4x4?
You can send the pics to my email. smokie55 "Spammers Suck" @gmail.com remember to cut out the spammers suck part. thanks, Will

Crew cab- that's a Ford term. I have a 76 3/4 ton CC Ford that only has about 64k original miles on it. Belonged to a local ranch. They had a fleet of them, I missed the 4x4. Mine is a 300 six 4 speed. Gas guzzeling sob but I can pull a hill at an idle.

52 4x4 has been my user name here for years. I have had mine since I was about 12, a long time. I have an 84 blazer chasis to put my cab on but never seem to get there. Will see about sending those pics and getting some better ones taken. I want you to know every detail I can about it. I started it and moved it for the first time last night. My son drove it down here and said it ran 60 with no problem.

I have never heard it attached to any particular brand...Just trucks with 4 doors. I have owned 'em all too ( chevy GMC, Ford, Dodge ) and they all have been referred to as Crew Cabs...

I didn't say it was not a Chevy or Dodge term too. I also had a Dodge 4 door one time. No power steering about killed me but that old truck made me a lot of money.

Thanks for the pics 52-4x4. That is a pretty clean looking truck and just what I'm looking for and the price is right. Of course the only problem is the location. I wish I could take it off your hands. . Oh well, the search continues.

Definately too big to mail. Drove it a little last night and wife loves it. My dad wishes it had an automatic in it. Everyone likes it but no one wants it. When the weather warms up I will start working on the little body work it needs and maybe paint it. Going to dig in the junk pile today for some original wheels and hopefully get rid of those awfull back wheels.

Oh believe me, I want it. I just can't get to it. If you were within driving distance I most certainly would buy it off of you. Those trucks don't come around too often in these parts.

52-4x4; Where exactly are you located? 50 miles south of Ft. Smith would put you about 35 miles south of me.
