WOW an Update. Something new at least.
So I finally got to start on the passenger side floor today. I took off the remaining rocker panel and started on the piece that will replace the lower door post that is rotted out. Check it out.
Also check out the metal work on the section of the door pillar replacment panel where the flange for the front fender bolts at. I made a "mod" to it so it can look like the original instead of looking like a dumbo ear. Last edited by Alexis; 01-29-2005 at 11:49 PM. |

Nice work, I found the same thing on my "rust free" AZ blazer...
 Is that the end of the repairs or is there more welding in the future? |

Thanks guys.
Vt - I wish it was the end, but it's not. I got both floors, kick panels, rockers in/out, lower door post, the other door pillars,cab supports, rocker boxes, rear wheel wells (replacement) and one bed beam support. Oh and I got to redo part of the windshield cause I wasn't happy with my work. I felt like I could do better so I'm redoing a section. |

little work? I won't say how long that took me. but never under estimate the time sheetmetal work takes. Here a photo of it 90% done, the other 10 percent will be added when I weld it onto the blazer.

Yeap, that's the thing with these blazers, they can look fine until you get to digging. If it was easy everyone would have one!
