Kyle, your Dodge should have dana 70's front and rear, although in the pics the front axle looks like a dana 44. I would just stick with your dana 60... its lighter, its already under your truck (and you know if all the brake stuff and bearings are good), and it has more splines on the axleshafts (30 vs 23). You can rebuild the power lock that is in your truck now, the clutches are most likely worn out. Also, there is a good chance that the power wagon has really low gears...like 4.56 or 4.88. Maybe you could find a Mopar guy to unload your power wagon on, and make enough money on it to rebuild your d60. My 2 cents.

EDIT: in the first pic I can see the little 80. Hmm...in that case, the d80 is even heavier than the 70. I would just leave it under the dodge.

I got a buddy working on a 61 Fargo..(thats a Canadian Dodge) truck..1 ton single wheel one ton 4x4. Its in need of a power wagon emblem off the hood and some other parts too.
His has a 318 wide block and it has a dana 70 front and and spicer 70 rear. Might be the same brand diffs I'm not sure. His has 4.88 gears. He dosen't have a locker I know that...so if you looking for a sale I'll let him know.

I think he will needed the drum brakes too.

How much of this truck is left you have there. I know his has a divorced transfer case also.

Need one front signal lens also.

More too but cant think of it right now.

PM if you can about parts.

Spin the gears around till you can see some numbers stamped on them...typically they have the pinion and the crown gear on them and a year....something like 9 37 64

37/9=4.11 ratio..gear set is from 1964 ..and example for ya.

Or you put a pen mark on the crown gear and count how many teeth on it as you spin it. I have books that will tell me what ratio it is probably even if I knew only the crowns tooth count. It has to match a set number.

Basically they came with these type gears between 61 and 68 in a 300 series 4x4.

39-8 = 4.88
47-8 = 5.87
