14sf, detroit, 4:56, disc, complete

I am in need of some extra $$ so I am thinking or selling my 14sf. It's got a detroit, 4:56 gears, disc brakes, 6 lug, complete w/ujoint, straps, ubolts etc. all setup ready to go. I was told it was pulled from a 90 1 ton but I am not sure. Asking $700, let me know if you are interested. Pics will follow soon

Right now I am just checking for interest it will be a couple days before it is actually f/s

if its 6 lug, and SF, there's no way it came from a 1 ton. most likely a 1/2 ton, with the possibility of a LD 3/4 ton.

all 1 tons are FF, pre 81 or 82 3/4s would also be FF.

I would love to have it but shipping to 77474 would be a killer. Are the spring perches and shock mounts allready set up for a blazer swap?

if it came out of a 3/4 or 1 ton, it should bolt up OK in your Blazer.

Actually it wouldn't I shipped a TA rear axle (275 lbs) to Tennessee for $75 via truck freight (R&L). They picked it up out of my driveway on the pallet I had it strapped to and delivered it to the terminal in Tenn. The guy paid them $30 extra to have it dropped off in his driveway.

its a SF, it DID NOT come out of a 1 ton, 1 tons used 14FFs and Dana 70s, NEVER a 14SF. 1 ton spring perches are 2" narrower, so the rear from a 1 ton will not bolt right into anything but a 1 ton. 1/2 and 3/4 ton axles are interchangable. if this is in fact a 14SF, it came from a 3/4 ton truck.

it IS a sf, I am not sure what it came out of though. Only reason I said 1 ton is because the only ujoint straps I could find to fit were for a 98-99 1 ton.
