The whitewalls (or is that a white-edge rim?) ruin it. Black sidewalls would be all it needs to be a work-in-progress or a race truck that's simple black to make sheetmetal repair easy. The front tube grill complements the look, but for that extra touch, black headlight bezels would make the grill pop. Smaller and more grill slats/tubes would help, too.

I'm not into tube grills or white walls. I think it would look really good if the doors were shaved since the side makers and fender badges were shaved to go along with that. But all in all it's cool looking.

Gun control, the theory that 110lb. women have the "right" to fistfight with 210lb. rapists.

The reason animal rights activists are more passionate about fur than leather is because it's safer to harrass rich women than bikers...

What 4x4 & Martin64 said, and maybe one-piece side windows, tinted.

A big block under the hood would't hurt either.

I like what you're doin', but I would paint the wheels something other than black, mount tires black side out, maybe dogdish caps, no rings (I'm just that way, can't explain it, but done that with my stuff for years)

personally?

the way I'd do it is to have black steel wheels with no chrome (even paint the bolts black), and a 67/68 front end on it. I think I'd go with chrome, but another look that might be good with it is a very dark grey for the headlight surrounds and grille inserts.

Deep dish smoothies and baby moon caps, redline tires and a bed cover. 67 grille & keep the chrome trim but shave the door handles or newer smoother handles.

Keep the windshield's chrome trim. The bits of chrome set off the truck. Chrome reflects light and thereby illuminates the black. Lose the chrome and you'll gain a monochrome dullness. Or perhaps monotony is a better word. The chrome wheel rings look great and break up the two different blacks on the tires & wheels so you don't notice the difference side by side. Chrome or polished alum wheels would look great, as well. Assuming a great style to begin with. And did I say get as many slats/tubes available when you choose a billet grill?
