milky oil on pcv valve?
i was checkign everything out on the 69, just outta boredom and need of maintnance... the pcv valve and inside the left valve cover under the pcv is covered in milky oil, but the oil pan is shiny black oil..... what could cause this?

If you have some milky stuff on the pvc, and are not losing coolant, and drive a lot of short trips in colder climates, this is perfectly normal.
If this is the case, it just means that your oill is not getting warm enough to burn off the excess condensation in the oil, or you need to replace the pvc valve

that would be it then, ive been driving it on 1/2 mile trips only for about a month now b/c of problems that make me not trust it to go to town. im planning to adjust the valves anyways so ill take the valve covers off and clean them and put in a new pcv valve i have here
