hi/lo hump cabs

Which cab is installed on a factory 4wd truck....hi hump? If it is the hi hump, can a low hump cab be installed or modified to install without problems? Greg

Two option's.
Cut out the low hump and install a high hump or
install a body lift.
If you go the body lift route, you'll need to modify the low hump to accommodate the 4x4 shifter.

4X4 trucks had a high hump. You can cut the low hump out, find the removable hump with the type holes you need and bolt it in. Another option you have is to install a body lift, so the tranny and t-case will fit under the cab.

Sounds OK, is the removable hump the hi hump or do both humps just bolt in?? I have another truck with a factory BB, I understand it will have the hi hump also, but I have never compared the two. Is the hi hump taller like it sounds? Thanks for the great info. Greg

Hi hump is taller and bolts in low hump is part of the floor i.e. one piece.
