Almost finished what do you think?

well hello! i am new to the boards here and have already found some very usefull info thanks. i see many of you have your projects, well here is mine it has been a blast for me. i have done every bit of the work in house using only family resources. the truck is a 72 K20 up in the air with an 8" skyjacker lift sitting on 355/70R17 Toyo AT. hope you enjoy, if anyone has questions about the lift and fittment let me know glad to helpout.

looks awesome, im using the same lift on my truck. did you get a longer rear driveshaft? how much did it cost to get the front one made? tthanks, bob

i actually did not have to do anything to the rear drive line but i am going to have to enlongate the front, it just barley slides together about 2". not safe if i have to use it.
i am located in Oakley, Utah

what have you done for a steering set up, i just have the dropped pitman arma nd raised steering arm.

All i have for now is the drop pitman arm and raised steering arm same as you.
That steering arm was by far the most difficult thing in the whole installl. took a VERY BIG SLEDGE HAMMER and 30 minutes of hitting to loosen it up. I do need to do something else to help out the steering, it is pretty hard to keep it in a straight line down the road. any ideas?

ya crossover steering is the best way to go- it will be easier to turn the wheels and i believe you get a tighter turning radius. the only problem is it costs so much =/

That's quite an angle on the front driveshaft just at rest. I'd recommend you have a driveshaft shop look at it from an engineering standpoint, not just lengthening the shaft with a new tube. They might have a good way to prevent yoke bind at full droop. A long travel slip yoke may be necessary.

I'd like to know what that lower body stainless steel set up is. Are the flares part of the SS sides, or did you cut some flares where the SS sides begin? Looks good on your truck.
