yeah, onless you have a local junk yard with good guy prices, you'll be limited to a wall mart seat cover.

How 'bout the ever-popular 5 gallon bucket turned upside down? Not much of a guarantee in an accident, but it served many-a-farmer during those pesky rides to the feed store...
Sorry. I'm being a smart-a$$.

Find a seat out of a 90's full size Chevy (Mine came from a Silverado). Drill 4 holes and bolt her in newt. Best investment you'll make. I paid $300 for mine, you may find a better deal.

I'll vote for seat cover.
Had an 82 4x4 that came from the farm. Swore the farmer leaned toward the window (elbow hanging out) the whole time. Serious slope towards the door. I ended up putting a towel under my seat cover to make up for the slope. I think any later model seat is going to cost you $$$. Seat Cover.

Late model seats are expesive, and seats that fit these trucks that are in good shape are like hens teeth.None around.
Seatcovers from vendors are 200-250,and so you're still in the same boat moneywise.Maybe a pair of buckets from a grandAm or something if you're not too tall.Your gonna have to build a seat bracket prolly.Or you could do what the PO did. Mercury Brogham,or something ![]()

not sure of the cost, but one guy on here is using the second row seat from a 99 burb. didn't seem too hard to put it in and it had all the bells and whistles that I am looking for. cup holders, arm rest, storage, and still have leg room.

I've seen numerous postings on here from people offering good original bench seats for little money or free--if you can wait just watch the parts postings on here for a while. You could then add a Wally world seat cover. Or did you want something better?

Around here you can get 88+ truck seats for $50 or so if you dont care about the color, and if they are dirty.

I just layed a 89 chevy seat in my 67' and while the front bolts line up the seat is way too low. I know everyone swaps in this seat so what adjustments do I need to make?

I guess first of all, you'll need to define cheap.
Cheap seats to one person might just be the whole budget for my entire truck. ![]() |

60/40...'90 seat...Cheap...and it's Blue!!!
Here's a pretty solid seat(s). There is one small hole. I run this same package in my flatbed. They are really comfortable and easy to mount.
I have been saving them trying to find another bucket to make a pair...but, no luck...I run these buckets in my Blazer. So, If you want them...$100 set. |

Here is my longterm solution.Check me out
Takes the guy a month sometimes two to get one done, and he does it as a favor to me,but he sure is good, and the price is right.I'm kinda in between extra cash right now ![]()

This is why I love my junkyard owning buddies. Got the front seats and center seat out of a wrecked 2002 chevy for free, and got the gas tank out the a$$ end of a suburban for free too. On my original bench seat i had I found a black and grey cover with pockets in the front of it (cup holder) for around 20 bucks at the local farm supply store.
