tilt?

Can I use the tilt column off an 85?

The 85 has the ignition on the column, so it would take a lot of work.

sure, just remove the ignition switch, dimmer switch, & the welded on bosses that these bolt to along with removing the mounting bracket bosses. then on your truck remove the protrusion which located the factory column under the cluster. if you dont believe me I can post pics, just looks gaudy having the lock cylinder sticking out the side. but what the hey, at least I have a cheap tilt!

van tilt would probably be easier...and pretty cheap in the yards
