Swappin control arms
Question I have a 68 c30 and the ride is hard I want to know if I can change the upper and lower control arms say for the ones off a c20 with rubber bushings

I don't think that it is the control arms that are giving you the rough ride. Its probably the 1 ton springs.

As far as i know the C-20 is not a rubber bushing setup.I dont think they went to rubber bushings in the control arms until '73 and it was only in the C-10's then.The best you could do to soften up the ride would prolly just to go through the front end and replace the ball joints and etc. and prolly some softer springs and shocks.
