rasie the frt crossmember 3 inchs which lets me lay rocker then change out the body mounts with hockey pucks and thats door

You realize your opening up a can of worms raising the crossmember more than 1.5" don't you? You will have to mod the steering too....

I dont think it is physically possible to lay doors without a body drop. There is only so much room.

FWIW,
My new PST Cab/Body bushings ARE as thick as Hockey Pucks. Why don't you just Z the frame, instead of doing a Xmember drop?
IIRC, there's someone on here that has a 73-77 C10, and bagged it and he was laying rocker, and all he did was take out his mount bushings, and replace them with .25" thick pieces of polyurethane.

You don't need to go with a Camaro clip. That's way more work than it's worth. If you want to lay out, Z the frame at the firewall, then drop the front back down for bumper mounts.

If you raise the crossmember more than 1.5" it requires a lot more work to get everything correct....

i seen that truck at the lake charles show i want to do a z frame but its up in the air right know but i want to build a sir galahad replica out of this one

hes helpin me he goin to help my cut and rasised the a-arms and he keep sayin i dont need drop spindles to lay out which i know i do for camber reasons but he wants to section the truck 3 inchs and b/d i think 3 and counter sink the seat and i can be so low its unbelieve able **** we were talkin about u last night how u use to polish the **** out of ur camaro at waco

Yeah, that Camaro is still in my garage, but it's not as nice as his truck. I sold it a few years ago and it sat in storage for a lot of years. All the chrome was rusted, and the interior was destroyed....
