horn relay

my horn dont work and i am getting a battery drain can i get a horn relay at part store too fit our trucks or do i need to contact one of our venders for it?

Horn relays don't cause a lot of problems. Does it click when you push the horn button?

Try unplugging it to see if the drain goes away.

Jim's right about the horn relay. They are usualy trouble free.

However, if you ever do need one, they are a common parts store item.

My aftermarket steering wheel adapter is off just enough where the plunger touches the side and keeps the horn contact made. I didn't notice this until I changed out steering columns. The PO had cut the horn wire and unplugged the horn. I didn't find the horn relay was constantly on with new column (I never connected the horn back up) until I killed a battery and alternator. You would figure that the horn circuit between the horn button and relay would be on a fuse...
