Got Lucky Today !!
Kinda been hibernating all winter up here the cold country. Today I decided to get out and went to the wreckers to see if I could get a front sway/stabilzer bar for my 72 BB. Got lucky and found a 79 Chev 3/4 ton with 8400lb GVW Camper Package with a big 1 1/4 inch front sway bar. I had to pay the thieves 40.00 for it but they are hard to find. Not all 3/4 tons have the 1 1/4 inch bar. I found other 3/4 tons with the one inch bar.
Thanks to Kevin (Texas Firefighter) for the FAQ page and info on installing front sway bars on our trucks. I already have the bushing, bolt and brackets from ECE to install the bar and can't wait to get the truck out of mothballs to do it. The sway bar and my new 235/70R15 tires with GM 15 X 7 Bud Rims should make the truck handle great..
