For what it's worth, Shuttermutt has an off-brand ext cab that would pull most trailers if someone could help. Keep in mind in near future i'll probably be going from oklahoma to shuttermutts pulling an empty 18 ft trailer up. Maybe a chance to repay a favor if someone needs some southern parts delivered. It could have been worse, he might have been driving one of mine or worse yet, his Malibu.

The truck's in Crystal at North Suburban Towing. They release from 8-11:30 AM and 12:30-5 PM on weekdays and 9-Noon on Saturdays. Bumpster's got a point, too. My wife's 6 cylinder 5-speed F&*d truck could be rigged to tow (no hitch or lights on it at the moment).

Well if you want to come out and get the trailer let me know. You know the way and you can use the trailer. I think I have the Hoppy trailering harness for a Ford truck by the way....It will at least get you a flat 4 for the lights and it is a simple plug in.(assuming you have a similar year truck as my adapter.) Since the pull is short I could use my 01 burb on Saturday morning. The hitch is only a class 3 but I have pulled more with less hitch.

Finally got some pics of the truck...

The old girl's on her way to a coworker's garage now. Remarkably, it looks like the hood might be okay, but the rest of the front end clip is toast. It moved the engine around pretty good, too.

Wow Greg, that is remarkable. I didn't expect it to be that bad. It looks like the frame on the driver's side is going to be tweaked.
How are you feeling? A little sore I bet, I hope you're doing well.

Heh, yeah. I came out on top to say the least. The more I think about it, the more I realize I'm lucky that I wasn't busted up any more than I was. Sure, I'm a bit sore, but I'll get over it. The real kicker is that on Wednesday the doc told my wife she's got pneumonia and my daughter and I both came down with nasty colds. Ugh!

Thanks for all the kind words and support. I'll post more after the cold medicine wears off! <g>

Wow! That is crunched pretty good. Yes, your hurt but just think of the condition you'd be in right now if it was some other rig. That's a real testament to how these trucks hold up. Glad to see you got it away from the robbers (er. holding yard). Also one more testament to everyone on this board. Already offering you free parts to get it fixed back up again. Keep us posted on how your doing.
