71 Chevy valve cover decal question
I can see that my 71 Custom 10 had a decal on the valve cover ( 350 V8 )but it is all but gone. I remember looking at a 71 truck 15 years ago that was in excellent shape and the decal was still good. I remember it having scrolling design's and it was chrome looking or silver. Does anyone have any details on this? Is there a replacement made for them?
Thanks, OT Last edited by Ozark Tim; 03-15-2005 at 05:32 PM. |

I thought that only GMC trucks had the valve cover sticker "Invader 350"etc. I did not think that anything but the 402/396 got a sticker on the valve cover Team 1 Tonawanda, passenger side, which is foil type material.

Here is a shot of a decal on my 69, most if not all suppliers sell replacement decals.

My '71 GMC K10's 350 had what was left of an "invader 350" decal on the pass valve cover. Got a new one for when the rebuild is done.
