68 Chevy Cab/ Non AC in KY $100

I have a 68 Chevy TRuck cab for sale, I am asking $100 for it picked up. The windshield is not cracked but is hazey around the edges, rear glass is good as well. Window Trim is not included, i need that for my truck. If you see anything in the pics that you may be interestd in just let me know. Sunvisors are gold and in excellent shape. Someone put in new rockers but did not weld them in. It has a 3spd steering Column, clutch pedals etc. There is some rust in it but I have seen worse. I hate to scrap it because I know someone out there has worse.[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

I really couldnt tell ya anything about it, it was wrecked in the front end when I got it. The wheels and Rear have been sold already, along the PS, and motor mounts. I can check the paint code if you like, is it in the glovebox? It was a 250 6cyl truck with 3spd on the column, 4.11 Rear. Other than that your guess is as good as mine. I priced someone the whole truck for $150 a few days ago..................jt

would you take $15 for that steering wheel, (plus shipping to 23111)? I'm only interested if it has all the horn parts with it though. PM me if so.

Pete

I'm about 1-1/2 Hours from Cincinatti, give or take a few minutes due to traffic. Nicholasville is just south west of Lexington, ky. You can get driving distance on Mapquest.com

I took a few pics of the wheel, i am not sure if it works or not but it does have the wire/button running though the wheel. You can basicly see in the pics what all is there. I dont know if that is everything or not, maybe you can tell..................jt

Yeah, I just went out to the garage to check it against the Z28 and it looks like it's all there. Just let me know where to send the money to, either here or PM me. I hope a money order is Ok, I don't even know how to do Paypal. BTW, I love your signature, that sounds pretty typical.

I PMed ya my info. The sig is a long story but basicly i bought the truck out of a field for $100 with a Brand New Chrome Gas Cap. First time my wife saw the truck, only compliment she could come up with was the gas cap comment with a look of "Here we go again" on her face.

I'll bet my left lugnuts that was a 50th.
Weren't the 50ths the ONLY trucks with gold visors?
Did it have two tone gold and white seats in it?

I am not sure what seats were in it, when I picked it up it only had a single bucket seat in the driverside. I believe the painy code on it was something like 551AA or something similar. i meant to write it down but forgot. Is there anyway to tell for sure what it was?.............jt
