axle movement

I'm thinking about buying some BFG Radial TA 195/50/15s and was wondering how much side to side movement there is on the rearend. I think I'll have about and inch or maybe less of clearence between the side wall and bed. I dunno if that will be a problem or not. It's no big deal to stick with 175s though, I just like fat tires. hehe

do you mean 295s & 275s? if so I think 295s will be quite tight. my truck has the 275s from BFG which leaves just over 3/4 inch on the inside. of course that is with the 7 inch wheels. if I had the recommended 8 1/2" wheels things will get worse.
some tire/wheel shops have a jig for choosing the best fitment of both tire & wheel. it is kind of a funky looking tool but is very handy. call around & ask if they have one.
