Rear Air Switch for '72 Sub

I have been looking all over the place for a factory rear air switch for a '72 rear air set up. This is the switch that sits below the headlight switch on the gauge bezel. This is a 4 position switch, off/low/med/high, and has 4 prongs on the back (3 to the harness, 1 to the fuse box) Anyone have one or know where to look, or if all that is not possible, where to find a suitable replacement? THX.

Yeah, I need the switch too with all the mounting hardware and the plate. I haven't seen them listed "new" so does anyone have a good used one they can spare?

The rear air switch is made by Indak and I believe they can help you. The PN stamped on the switch is 3999580. You might have to contact them but take a look at the three speed rotary switch.
The picture looks just like the original switch. Koch Sales is the distributor for the Indak switches.

A very good place to look for the switch itself is in what we call conversion vans - like Coachman etc. Many of these have the rear air option. The switch is on the dash towards the center of the panel. These are great for other uses also. I believe my brother adapted one for dual gas tank sending units. They are quite heavy duty as a lot of current flows into them. The wire terminal(plastic plug) that connects to them is partially melted sometimes. If I recall the standard chrome bezel nut from the 67/72 dash fits just fine along with the knob.

The little tab that says REAR AIR is virtually impossible to find.

I think the switch would work with both rear air and full length air.

Another source for the switch is the early flat face vans with the motor behind the driver. These have an almost vertical steering column with the heater controls in the column brace. One control is an electrical switch with a pull cable knob. The Truck Shop of Orange lists the following:

Heater Control Switch,Push-Pull Cable 64-66 #64-04904 $54.00

I believe the 67/72 chrome bezel and knob fit this also. Just disregard the push-pull feature and use the twist portion.
