Do I need to replace or repair these leaves?

Got my frame sandblasted today and it looks like the majority of the rust that was between each leaf, flew out, but what do yall think I should do now? Should I buy all new leaves for each side, (which will be about 800 bucks!), or do you think these will hold up? When the frame is on the ground, you can bounce on the frame as much as you want and there is literally no sagging. It sits level too, even when the body parts were on the frame, it didn't lean to one side, it sat level. Is there a rebuild kit for new clamp thingys? Here's a pic, please let me know what yall think about this?

i don't know where your looking to buy your springs from but i got a set for my 85 last year for less than $250. the 67-72 springs are slightly narrower than my 85's and thats why there more. do yourself a favor and update the springs to the later model. you may have to change the shackles but it should all bolt together. good luck

Everywhere I look for springs for my truck, they are all about 400 a side. It's because in 55, the 1st series truck had an open rear and it's different than a 55 2nd series and the 47-54's had a closed rear. If anyone knows if anything newer will fit straight into mine, without problems, please let me know.

How about taking them to a local spring shop, they will make new "clamp thingys" for you. If I we're you, I'd take them in as they are for a qoute, bring 'em back home to disassemble and clean up, then take them back for re-arch (if needed) and reassembly. I'll bet it would cost less that $100-$150.
