Slightly molested with a newer 350 V8 with A/C but verified mileage title at 150k. So I think it will be a great project. I know it needs will need some TLC but I think it was a pretty nice deal and can't wait to get started on 'er

I may keep it stock. That is kinda the plans for now.
I have the 4" lift I just pulled off the 3/4 ton. I also have an A/C dash I am re-doing right now so I may put it in 'er instead of the RR. Hard to tell at this point. I have a transport company hopefully picking 'er up next week. I hope it gets delivered by the end of the month. Got to see what all she's got and needs before I get too far ahead of myself but tons of ideas at this point. Hope there is enough factory paint to buff out. Clean it up drive it while the RED ROCKET becomes BLACK BETTY or CC (Custom Camper) Front end with home made winch bumper: Last edited by Brewski*; 03-18-2005 at 04:46 PM. |

The CC is my 71 GMC Custom Camper which will be almost 100% stock with some nice shiny chrome and many many powder coated parts.
I will leave those mirrors on the burb until I find out what it had stock. I don't think those are stock. My CC Mirrors are huge compared to those |

No those mirrors are definately not stock. I bet she had the west coast mirrors like on the burb in this pic. If not it had the long arm round or rectangular ones used 67-69.

Yeah I have never seen ones like that on a stock truck. My 67 Chevy had the west coast mirrors. I really can't remember if I liked them or not it has been so long ago. I have the Stainless Steel CC mirrors back on my CC and don't much like them. I will have to wait and see what the glove box protecto plate has to say if anything about the mirrors. Might just keep these on 'r until I figure out exactly which direction I will go. I have thought about TOTALLY CUSTOM like a limo inside with dark tint windows, leather, exotic wood, TV, DVD, X-BOX, refridge, and bar~! Hell might even put in a pony barrle keg cooler and use it on my business voyages all over the country. Hard telling at this point~!

burb
I wanted to buy that too. Cool burb. I just have too many vehicles now. I'd leave that baby stock or close to it. It's a neat old burb the way it is...........
