Bed-rail handles: grab handles: whatcha got?
My 71 GMC has nothing on the bedrails...pretty boring, especially on 8 feet of bed! Show me what you have, what should I stay away from, and how much did it cost you? Should be an easy DIY, but show me some options out there!

How about 2 by 2 pressure treated stock that is used for deck railings? Cut off at odd lengths and stuffed in the stake pockets in a hap-hazzard manner? It the ultimate in ease-of-install and resonates Redneck. Just watch out for splinters. I think this falls into the "stay away from" category.

hmmm...I could do that!
Definitely falls within my skill-level category, but I'm not so sure the wife would approve of the "look"!
Something like "Come and listen to a story about a man named Jed, a poor mountaineer..." (and the scary part of this is that I know all of the lyrics!!!) |

or, at the other end of the spectrum...
I know, it's not the right year, but a longbed treatment is pretty interchangeable.

I like shovels, rakes, and brooms. There were bed-rails available from dealers.I found some at a dealer in SC.They were the same through the`87s.Simular style to luggage racks w/woodgrain.

I have the rails on mine. I will probably take them off in a week or two when I get time though.
