Had Ol' Duke 6 days and already thinking about paint
I just gotta get that shell off. I am thinking about using PPG Dalstar 1 step Paint (thanks to some of you). I want to go back to original dark blue but have a couple of questions.
1. Can they match the paint to my interior, it is in great shape and the color is good, but a little faded from what I can tell from the paint chip sites. I dont want to have to paint the interior if I can help it. That way all colors match and are in agreement with the Sticker. 2. Where would I get this paint from? I think if they can match it I need to take my ride to them so they can have a look. 3. Should I take the Bed off to do this, the exterior will be darker then the insideif I don't. I understand from some of you that getting teh bed off in one piece is pretty easy, is it worth the trouble? 4. My uncle has painted cars and is willing to advise/help me, are there any good aritcles/posts out on the net describing the process? Maybe with pics? Thanks again for everyone's help, I will probably be asking often for advice!!

Definitley take that top off. The one that I got with my truck is similar to yours and it now sits behind the garage. I'll put it back on only if I need it, and then only long enough to finish the job.
