Found a 1 ton dually
Was at the local yard today, and looked way back in the back, up in the trees and bushes, and saw a '69 or '70 one ton dually with a work bed on it. I must have walked past it at least a dozen times without seeing it, because it's been there a while. Not in terrible shape either, and fairly complete. It had a 327/4 spd with very few options, but had a good left door, and a useable cab. I told them to figure me a price and let me know. I would have offered him a couple of hundred, but didn't have it to spare, lol. Is it worth much more than that? I figure they won't have a title, but it's possible I guess.

I just looked a a 68 C30 dually yesterday. Really not too bad of shape. Great running unmolested 327/4spd. A couple of nice options inside like hand throttle and the choke delete plate. Total price is $450. Something that makes me shy away from the 70 and older is the drum brakes and the narrower rear brakes. Split rims are another reason to run away.

The engine and tranny alone is probably worth a couple hundred. Without pictures, can't tell you about the rest
