What Do You Think Of Todays Purchase

I was coming back from the swap meet in Cedar Rapids this afternoon. And picked up this 1972 3/4 ton 4x4 before it went to the scrap. The body's toast but it has ps, pb, th350 w/np205, disc brake frontend and a good frame. It set me back $125. I couldn't let her go to the scrap and besides one more won't hurt. LOL! Jason

I asked about this one 2 years ago and the guy and his boy where going to fix it up. Well it was going to the scrap soon because of him and the wife where getting divorced and selling the house. I'm suppose to get a title sometime but if not I still couln't let her sit because he was taking it to the scrap yard soon. Jason

It has a mid 80's Yamaha 750 motorcycle that was going to scrap with it. I didn't really want the bike, but they wouldn't let me leave it. I thought maybe someone will need the bike for parts. Jason

I was out taking pics of something else and couldn't resist. So here is one after I unloaded it and replace the flat front tire. Jason

Sorry no pics of the bike, a buddy is getting it. The bed looks about the same on the other side, we're going to put it on a 76 frame I have to haul wood and junk. And sorry Meathead it's not for sale; at least not right now. I'm hoping the PO finds the title and gets it to me. If not he's owned it since mid 70's so I'll be able to apply for a lost title. Jason

Jim - someone stoled the hub where ever he had it stored. I'm going to see a friend for some. He parts fords so they'll work but be red. I at least want to keep the rain and dust out of the axle for now.
