trans/xfer swap

For those who know all the measurements......My 67 Chevy currently has a 350/T350/NP203. If I swap to a 700R4/NP205, will I have to mess with drive shaft lengths? If the front needs to be longer & the rear shorter, then I could move the engine forward a little (instead of altering d shafts) to help with the dizzy clearance. What do you think??

The crossmember only move about and inch or so...
