I am stumped, need help
ok heres the problem, my truck stumbles while accelerating, pops through the carb untill it warms up and desiels really bad after being turned off.(sometimes up to 2, 3 mins) its a 72 gmc with a 402, hei and 750 manual choke eldebrock carb.
i have tried to adjust the timing and the carb. several times and several differnt ways. same problem. also i have checked for vacuum leaks but cant find any. all the vacuum lines are new. the carb has been rebuild, new plugs and wires put in like 3 months ago. dont know what else to look for or do. please help. its my daily driver.

carb problems
here's one thread that talks about your problem. There are several others. If you type backfire in the search box they will come up.
