Intake Manifold ?
I just received a stock intake from the junk yard today for my 72' sb 350. It has a tin/galvanized oil shield on the bottom. It looks like it's been beaten up pretty good. Question is: is this an oil splash shield and can I use the manifold without it?
Thanks, Scott Last edited by 72 Cheyenne K20; 04-19-2005 at 11:47 PM. |

even if you decide to leave it, pull it off and clean underneath it. sludge sits there and burns, holds a lot of heat. it pulls off easy, then just smack the rivets back in if you decide to put it back on.
