Chevy 572

was watching trucks tv on tnt this morning and they where installing a new chevrolet BB572. He said this was the first unvailing of the engine. It is massive. What a sweet machine! But I think that may have been a past episode. Has anyone esle heard of this motor before the tv show today?

I found an engine I'd like to have. It's an 816 cid based on a BBC type block. It puts out 1610 hp. If only I could afford the $60,000 price tag...

Wow, the 760 cubic inch "commander" is only $52,000 and some change, what a bargain.

I was at a friends speed shop yesterday and was going through one of his machinist books and came across an article on crankshafts & the next craze is to be a SBC to 468cubes.

The come in somehthing like 620 and 720 horsepower, the 620 is for street, which is in Copperhead and the 720 is for the strip as in what's in the project Nova on Horsepower TV.
