Yes, I looked for the part in the board vendors. "The Truck Shop" is the only place I have found that has the correct factory 68 steering wheel (the one with the 3 spokes and round horn). I am considering just getting the 69-72 factory steering wheel that everybody else carries, and if I go that route I will be using a board vendor.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from them and was shorted 1 piece of trim that was shipped according to the packing list. I called them the next day and it wasn't a problem they shipped it that day. Quality seemed fine ,prices good, shipping was a little expensive but not outrageous. Chris

I have been to their shop and bought a few items. They sell both car & truck parts ("Truck Shop" & "Car Shop"), check out both websites. I would rate them as a good source for replacement parts, specially on the west coast.

Truck Shop OC CA.

They sell wholesale to most of the truck vendors out there. They come to Charlotte Auto Fair in NC. Their prices are usually lower at the show than in their catolog. But they don't bring everything they carry. They bring things like door handles, lenses, bumpers, mirrors, dash pads, tach kits, repo sheet metal, doors, bedsides, patch panels, under bed gas tank kits and exc. You can't beat their show prices anywhere because they are also wholesalers. B.B,

I've seen The Truck Shop at Carlisle Pa. many times and have not bought anything from them. There have been quite a few "bad reviews" on their customer service and sales people with attitudes, which I have personally witnessed. They make a lot of sales at shows because of their lower prices. I'd rather buy from a people-friendly vendor even if the price was a bit higher.

Your talking about www.truckandcarshop.com I thought they were priced very good and the quality was good. Bought a replacement tank kit for my 72 Blazer 203.00 for everything to my door. Alot cheaper than everybody else.

They have terrible customer service. Try to get something exchanged or refunded and you will see. Since they are coming to Turlock, Ca this weekend (where I live), I thought I would try using them again and possibly save some shipping charges since I need a blazer gas tank. The sales person had an attitude and would not help in any way to get my order sent this way. Then I asked if I could request some parts to be at the show so I could just buy them there, and again I was given an attitude with no help.

watch out for theur rubber pieces, like door handle gaskets and weatherstripping. I found out the hard way they are not UV stable. Also, their emmission decals have typos.

They also caught an attitude when I had issues with their quality and mentioned that they had forgotten a couple of items.

They love to collect the money, but they don't seem to like earning it.

Just my $.02

I have used Truck Shop with fast service, great prices and no complaints so far. I have been using Frank (PICKMUP) recently since "I KNOW WHERE HE LIVES"...LOL...and he is within driving distance so no shipping.

I HAVE USED THEM DOZENS OF TIMES WITHOUT A SINGLE PROBLEM & WOULDN'T HESITATE TO USE THEM IN THE FUTURE. AT SHOWS THERE PRICES CERTAINLY CAN'T BE BEAT. I HAVE ORDERED FROM 2 OF THE BOARD MEMBERS ONLY TO HAVE MY PARTS DROP SHIPPED , ONCE FROM THE TRUCK SHOP & ONCE FROM LMC. BOTH TIMES THEY EACH PUT A COPY OF THEIR CATALOG IN THE BOX. JOHN

There is a "truck shop" in Tenn who's prices are the highest I have seen. The one in California---is ok in my book. I have spent thousands $$ with them over the past 7-8 years and no significant issues. They are manufacturer/importers as well as retailers. In fact Goodmark buys a lot from them and repackages/relgo's their stuff. Not everything is available and some of their product is - well - definitely aftermarket quality but overall, their quality is similar to all other venders and their show prices are usually the lowest. I also buy from board venders and when/where possible, I tend to do business with the guys who treat me the best--and also try to avoid shipping as the time, cost, and inability to touchy/feeley makes me uncomfortable.

I bought sport mirrors from them in 02 at the swap meet and the head fell off of the mirror going down a gravel road. Two day later I found the head ( it was run over a dozen times or so). I returned the mirror to them at a swap meet in 04 and no questions were asked. I would do buisness with them again.......FIRST.

I have had great service from the Truck Shop , close enough for me to drive down and get what I want the same day .
Prices are the same as everything else some things are cheaper and others are not ,The advantage of being at the Shop is they sell slightly damaged or odd lots cheaper .

I recently bought a new locking gas cap and the CST woodgrain tailgate trim from them. The delivery was fast and the price was great.

As with anything I'm shopping for, I check several vendors before I purchase something.

I'd definately do business with them again. No complaints at all.

They're cheaper on a lot of things, sometimes by quite a bit. I've spent a few hundred with them without any problems.
