I took the whole f-in thing out, and the a/c box, and the heater core.

My friends has a 5/7 drop with 20s with the fender wells taken out and the fenders cut. Everything was fine until we hit a huge pothole and the wheel went up and smashed the blower into little pieces. So if I were you I would just take all that out, thats what Im doing. Besides you dont look very cool rollin with the windows up and the a/c on.

Well, you might not look as cool but you sure will feel cool during those summer months w/the windows up & that a/c blowin' cold.

If your ride looks good, it looks good . . ..... windows up or down.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

That's the dumbest thing I have heard all day. especially coming from some one in Texas. Maybe up north rolling with no a/c qualifies as cool. In Texas it's a sure way to be miserable. There are many ways to mod the blower motor shroud so it will clear and still work. On my 82 Blazer we cut a section out of the housing and glassed it back together. It clears the 20's we test fit just fine. Of course it helps if your not trying to run 30" tall tires up front....

I never had a problem on my 74, with a 245/40 on the front. There was not any extra room though, the tire would almost touch the blower motor housing when aired out. It had maybe 1/8" clearance.

I know what you mean, Of all of the trucks that I have had only 2 of them had working A/C. You do kind of get used to sweating, but the one I am building now will definitely have A/C. I guess maybe I'm just getting old.

Well Im about to turn 21 so I think I can afford to sweat for a couple more years. Plus shedding a few pounds wouldnt hurt either.
