Lowered 72 LWB
A few pictures of progress to date. 2 1/2" drop spindles & 2" drop springs in front. (Thanks Wes) Airbags in rear. Currently sitting at approximately a 5"-6" drop. Wanted the bags but could not afford pump mechanism/hardware at this time. Check out the airhose set-up with air nipples located near the license plate. (Thanks stillookn)

Looks great. How is the ride with the 2" drop springs up front? How much air do you put in the rear bags to achieve that ride height? Thanks B.B.

Ride is definitely stiffer with this setup. Running about 35 lbs. of air in the bags to maintain this height. I am going to bring it up a bit more and see if it smooths out.

More air pressure is going to give you a stiffer ride. Set the air pressure where it gives you the best ride and then add some "cups" or spacers under or on top of the bags to get the ride height you want at that pressure.

I usually don't like lowered trucks, especially fleetsides longbeds, but your truck looks pretty good
 .

Looking good Larry! Wait until you get that heavy oak in the bed. That will lower it some more and smooth it out a little. We can adjust it with spacers after that. Are you ready for paint? It looks like you have been working on those drip rails!!!!

The airbags were the last of the major mechanical. Time to start the body work and the interior renovation. Thanks for the kind words.

nice ride!! It looks almost like my truck same color, same wheels mine is a 2-1/2 front drop and a 4" rear with 245-60-15 in the front and 295-50-15 in the rear.
