Can I use a van sport bumper?
Was thinking of putting a sport bumper on the 69'.I noticed across the street a neighbor has a early 90's conversion van with a sport bumper,if I can find one at a junkyard will it work on our trucks?

I had a new chevy shortbox van with chrome sport bumpers back in 1980 and always thought they were identical to the 67 72 sport bumper... the licence plate/tag bracket looks identical as well. I went to the wreckers @ a month ago and picked up the rear plate light for it (from a 1980 van) and it installed perfectly, Longhorn might be correct though the bumper width & bolt hole locations might be different. If you need measurements for the 67 72 sport bumper let me know I'll post them later for you.
