Rear disc brake conversion
I still think I want rear disc on my GMC. Who sells the brackets? I saw them here not long ago but now can't find them.

I assume your 3/4 ton 69 has an Eaton rear ?

The 3/4 has a Dana 60 with a 4.10.
I have a 71 donor Super Cheyenne 1/2 ton with a 12 bolt that I'm planning on doing a frame swap after installing drop spindles and coils. Quote:

We sell 12 bolt Kits at Blackbirds, but not just the brackets... We're just and option http://www.blackbirdscustomtrucks.com/index4.html There are some folks on here that have made some, maybe they can help you if you don't need a full kit..

I will have an extra set, but they bolt to a Ford Dana 60 4 bolt not old Chevy 6 bolt flange. I have the old Chevy Dana 60 backing plate laying around, I`ll check to see how much work it will take to make it fit. Later Willis

Thanks for the responses. Unless I can figure out how to convert the Dana 60 to 5 lug disc, I'm probably going to use the 12 bolt. I've already bought the tires and 5 hole wheels.
