Getting Spoiled...

Saw another '68, 50th Anniversary C10 LWB today and did not even stop to look it over! How bad is that? I can no longer count the number I have seen around here...must be at least 5 in the last year. This one was pretty well thrashed but a runner just the same. It was at a hardware store picking up building materials! I was only sorry that I did not stop to see how badly the interior had been trashed. Sorry guys no pictures.

You have all those trucks and your Still LQQkin for more.

There are quite a few around my area too, You see a lot of them which have changed the two tone to solid gold.

The gold colored interior parts are very rare and not being reproduced due to the low demand.

It also seems as if there were several trim options offered such as the CST and Custom.

No one I have ever talked to outside of this board knows what they are. I spoke to a mechanic that worked at a chevrolet dealer
in San Angelo since the early 40's and new these truck well. He remembered the color scheme but not the 50th Anniversary.

There is an unmolested 50th about 1/2 mile from me that I drive by all the time. I have not seen if for the last month and need to stop and say hello to the old fella that owns it. He said he would sell but needed a truck to replace it. I guess I should offer to trade him my son's '77 stepside for this rare bird. I did not take a picture of the interior when I was there last year. I will stop and see him again...I sure hope he didn't sell it! So, Hutch...the party is at your house this weekend? Sounds like fun!

Hey, that's a great looking truck! Those short feets are hard to come by. Desert Rat seems to have cornered the market on all the short fleetside boxes...saw three in his backyard being guarded by a bunch of vicious dogs! There was another on a truck in his front yard...the guy has parts!

She wouldn't let you shoot guns in the house...how much fun was she? I'll bet she wouldn't even let you wash your parts in the dishwasher either...LMAO!

I still tremble when I see a 50th! If someone is in the vehicle with me, they think I am nuts when I see one. hehe
