I've been doing a few things to the 69 SWB. I installed a new 1406, new intake gasket, belts, etc. I lifted the distrubitor cap and this is what I found. I could have rebuilt it but I decided to get a new DUI instead.

heh. i just went through that myself. nowhere near as bad as that, but bad enough to need a new center shaft. luckely a friend had a near new dist. that he didn't need and i canibalized the guts for mine.

how well was it running with it like that?
